Randi Mahomes pays tribute to Brittany and late mother on Mother's Day
Randi Mahomes, mother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, shared a Mother's Day Instagram post honoring her daughter-in-law Brittany Mahomes and her late mother Debbie Martin. The post featured photos and expressed gratitude for both women. Randi wrote that she missed her mother extra on the day and praised Brittany as an incredible mother to her three children.
The first photo showed Randi with her mother wearing Patrick's No. 15 Chiefs jersey. Debbie Martin died in 2023. Randi credited her mother's love for shaping her own family approach and called being a mother and grandmother her greatest blessing.
Randi noted Patrick's brief high school consideration to quit football, which she discouraged during an April Instagram Q&A. Patrick starred as a two-year quarterback starter at Whitehouse High School in East Texas, where he met Brittany, before playing at Texas Tech and entering the NFL as the Chiefs' 2017 first-round pick.
The Mahomes family, including father Patrick Mahomes Sr. and brother Jackson, regularly attends Chiefs games to support the two-time NFL MVP.
